Petroleum coke, abbreviated coke or petcoke, is a final carbon-rich solid material that derives from oil refining, and is one type of the group of fuels referred to as cokes. Petcoke is the coke that, in particular, derives from a final cracking process—a thermo-based chemical engineering process that splits long chain hydrocarbons of petroleum into shorter chains—that takes place in units termed coker units.(Other types of coke are derived from coal.) Stated succinctly, coke is the “carbonization product of high-boiling hydrocarbon fractions obtained in petroleum processing (heavy residues)”

The global Petroleum Coke (Petcoke) market was valued at USD 7902.5 million in 2021 and it is expected to reach USD 26970 million by the end of 2026, growing at a CAGR of 19.2% during 2021-2026.

QC CLEARANCE OF LED STREET LIGHT (NV EBS)

On 6 August 2020 we sent the following 8 samples in housing colors gray and white by airfreight to NV EBS:

• Category 1 (main/primary roads) ==> 120W, color: 4000K/5000K
• Category 2 (secondary/connection roads) ==> 70W, color: 4000K/5000K
• Category 3 (third not busy (sandy or paved) roads) ==> 40W/50W, color: 4000K/5000K

As part of our QC process, we checked the samples received from our manufacturer and the session was recorded. This video would allow the stakeholders to make available the activity done for later reference, auditing and also make training capsules.

Also in order to assist the client to get the most out of the evaluation process we anticipated on one of the most important (simulation) tests for calculation and simulation with the software package DIALUX.

On 10 August 2020 we executed the simulation program. Entry and Exit criteria and definition of simulation process was a series of documentation process undertaken by us wherein we sought EBS’s assistance to gather desired data points. Results of the simulation was shared with the evaluation team wherein the test submissions were passed. It was tested for various luminaire characteristics in several scenarios such as intended heights, angles, distance between poles, profile, etc. This would enable the client to get the most desired optimum installation settings for the streetlights and the street profile. USD 4.5M PROCUREMENT BID

NV EBS bid package for procurement of 40.000 pcs LED Street Lights was delivered on 20th April 2020. Together with our strategic partner LED Technology Dutch Design and one of our preferred manufacturer/supplier with international credentials we were able to prepare a package that could meet all the requirements and criteria of the client. We were successful in our bid and now we are in the process of delivering the LED lights.
